Happy Wednesday, Sault Ste. Marie! For today's Tarot meditation, I'm looking at the following combination:
There are many material pleasures to be had in life: good food, good drink, good entertainment. There's no reason to deny yourself these things, but there is a reason to moderate these things. When you are unable to moderate your consumption, you abandon Epicurean sensibilities in favor of hedonistic indiscretion. This unmoderated compulsion for more and more regardless of the quantity or quality isolates you from communication with others and restrains you from gaining the self-awareness necessary to live a satisfying life. Beware material addiction and the withering consequences that flow from it.
