Happy Tuesday, Sault Ste. Marie! For today's Tarot meditation, I'm examining the following combination:
Mastery of the world creates masters. These masters are people who have attained the peak of the pyramid as a result of their own effort and proven responsibility to others. Material success follows material efforts. In all things, there is a balance factor at play, and it teaches that the higher up the pyramid one climbs, the more one is visible to others. In this sense, the base of the pyramid exerts its demands and preferences upon the top of the pyramid.
Though the figurative master at the top of the pyramid has gained much, said gains are only possible because of the figurative slaves at the bottom of the pyramid. Though the master at the top of the pyramid is free to enjoy the fruits of his or her labor, he or she struggles to remember the sense of freedom enjoyed by those at the bottom of the pyramid who are only responsible to themselves.
For those at the top of the pyramid, remember how you got there and remember too what it is that keeps you there. For those at the bottom of the pyramid, you have more influence than you know.
