Dear Anonymous Dove; thank-you for trusting me to answer this relationship question today. As a cartomancer, I always enjoy giving happy predictions and delivering good news. But of course, as a cartomancer, I can't pick the cards and choose what messages I receive, and - such is life - I'm not able to promise a positive answer every time I consult the cards. Case in point, the relationship I see between yourself doesn't bring confidence.
The downside is that I don't see you and Clifford coming together. Clifford seems like he's got a very particular plan for where he's going in life, and he's already made up his mind about the people he's including in that plan. Both you and Clifford are moving through big life changes and transitions, but the difference is that he's settled and put down roots, and you're still searching for meaning.
But this doesn't mean you're destined to be unhappy. When I look at you in this reading, I see somebody full of passion, love, and vitality. If Clifford isn't responding to the generous spirit you're willing to share with him, then that doesn't mean anything except your time and energy will be better rewarded with somebody who recognizes and appreciates what you really have to offer.
