Good morning, Sault Ste. Marie - we're back from Summer break! We took 10 days off for some fun in the sun and also visiting friends and family, and now that our batteries are recharged the store is open and all our regularly scheduled classes are back in action.
So if you're reading this, that means today we're open! Our regularly scheduled yoga class is on for this morning from 11am to 12pm, and although we would normally be open for our meditation and lightworking class from 12.30 to 1.30, and our public healing circle from 2pm to 3pm, and then open for walk-in readings from 3pm to 8pm, today all events are canceled because our resident yogi Jen Bridge is teaching a yoga instructor seminar. Many apologies if you're one of our regular participants in the other classes, but we do have to occasionally cancel Saturday classes for the good of spreading yoga far and wide.
And for a change of pace - mostly to give myself something more interesting to do than just interpreting two-card combinations - the daily Tarot cards feature is going to follow a question-and-answer format for a few weeks. My hope is that this will be a fun and funny way to think about interesting questions that we've all asked ourselves (or even been asked?) So now that you know the format, let's get started:
If you won $1,000,000, what would you do?
Following the Millennium Clock, the answer to this question appears as the union of the 7 and 8 of Spades who say, "I wouldn't do anything with it. At least, not right away, and definitely not on my own. I'd gather my closest friends and confidants and do a brainstorming session. After all, why should I keep the best for myself? With my own personal think-tank I'd come up with all the ways to improve the lives of my closest friends. Together, we'd be unstoppable...
... but I suppose there's a danger in keeping our good ideas just for ourselves. I mean, with all this power at fingers, it'd be difficult to share it with anybody outside of our circle. Suddenly, our own ideas and goals would become much more valuable than anybody elses. What would we do to avoid the echo chamber of our own agreement?
