Good morning, Sault Ste. Marie; I hope you're having a wonderful Friday. There's so much to do in the Sault as the weather warms up and Summer approaches, so as usual, I hope you'll spend some of your time with us! The store is open today from 12pm until 8pm - if you're not busy, why not come visit us for a Tarot reading, palm reading, or a Lightworking session?
Also during this time we'll have a few events: from 4.30pm until 6pm, Geline's Dance Club for girls aged 6-10 will be happening, and if you have a child who'd like to attend, please call ahead of time because it's pre-registered only. Also, from 6.30pm until 7.30pm you can attend our members-only Lightworkers healing class. If this is your first class, please come a few minutes early so you can register and learn what to expect both during and from your classes.
And another announcement for this week: just this Saturday, the 25th of April, we'll have no store hours from 12pm to 8pm. Jen and I are busy servicing clients off location. Our cats would love to just hang out with all the lovely people who visit us, but they're terrible hosts so we had to pass on that plan.
And now for something completely different: today's Tarot card reading! Following the Millennium Clock, today is marked by the union of the 7 of Clubs and 5 of Diamonds who teach the lesson that cooperation and group dynamics do not necessarily increase your odds of succeeding with any given opportunity in life.
Generally speaking, I think cooperation and group wisdom are very important, but the Millennium Clock presents many scenarios, and more than a few of them oppose one another. This is only a reminder that life is multi-faceted and there are exceptions to every rule.
As far as today's Tarot reading goes, remember that groups have a life of their own: group wisdom and experience come with a price, and that price is the erosion of the individual. Opportunities which you had hoped to keep for yourself can be siphoned off by others in the group or even diminished by well-meaning friends and associates.
This doesn't mean that people are out to take what's yours, only that resources are finite and even the best intentioned of friends can misunderstand why you want their help.
