Happy Saturday morning to you, Sault Ste. Marie! Another beautiful day for us and a gorgeous Saturday it is, so even though I'm pretty sure you'll be spending your time getting your camp or cottage ready for the summer, or just out and about at the trails and parks that are just becoming usable again, I hope you'll spend some of your time with us! We've got yoga class this morning at 11am, and then the store is open for walk-in's, tarot readings, and lightworking and healing sessions from 12pm until 8pm.
And remember that from 2pm to 3pm I'm hosting a free tea and occult lecture! The lecture will be about 30 minutes, and there'll be plenty of time before and after for meet and greet, finding new friends, and Q&A.
With that out of the way, let's talk about today's Tarot reading! Following the Millennium Clock formula, today marks the union of the 10 of Diamonds and the 3 of Spades who teach the lesson that the loss of work, money, or daily routines - all of which give foundation and stability - is a tremendous test of the strength of your relationships and partnerships.
So the saying goes, "All you need is love," and I suppose if you're a Bohemian revolutionary then perhaps that's true; however, for the rest of us, love only goes so far, and the absence of material support and financial freedom will often create more stress than can be managed with just hugs and kisses.
This isn't to say that affection and tenderness can't exist outside of material foundations, but this is to say that - following Maslow's hierarchy of needs (Google it) - we all have base needs which need to be met before we're able to appreciate the more subtle things in life.
