Daily Tarot: 12 April, Aries 2015

Good morning, Sault Ste. Marie! I hope you're all having a wonderful Sunday morning. The weather forecast says it's supposed to be really nice today, so be sure to make the most of it! Speaking of making the most of things, Jen and I are updating our store hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 12pm to 8pm. You read it right: we're open now for walk-in hours from 12pm to 8pm Tuesday through Saturday.

Remember, though, we live in the upstairs apartment above the studio, so if the door's locked, just ring the newly installed doorbell beside the door and we'll open up for you! We want to have more and longer store hours, but life gets busy and it can be difficult to juggle with a 3-y/o toddler at home who can be very demanding, so the doorbell is the best solution we found. So don't be shy, come visit sometime!

Tarot Card 4 of Diamonds
Now that's out of the way, let's look at today's Tarot card reading. Following the Millennium Clock formula, today marks the union of the 4 of Diamonds and 3 of Spades who teach the lesson that professional obligation has a way of disrupting friendships and carefully formed relationships.

This is the same old story behind commissioned officers and enlisted men, or management and floor workers: authority and influence require a command presence that can't be allowed to become diminished through breaks in the chain of command.

In a more figurative sense, today's lesson teaches the difference between commitment to your ambitions and commitment to your friends: both will pull you in certain directions, and often enough it's not the same. Remember your goals and what's important to you, and choose wisely.
