Today marks the union of the 7 of Hearts and 4 of Clubs which teach us that gentle, nuanced, and subtle efforts to defuse situations fail miserably when participants refuse to see or hear from any other position except their own. Often enough, we ourselves can be a large part of the problem we want to fix, but we'll never realize it unless we are sufficiently quiet to realize that the disturbances around us are the consequence of our own assertions. Withdrawal and careful meditation can't happen when we insist on exerting control. Choose wisely.
