Wow, when it rains it pours - so much happening! Jen and I are really excited to be partnering with Sault College to teach yoga classes on campus, but despite our best efforts, we're not able to keep the same schedule. The best solution we found is that we're moving the Monday afternoon 12pm-3pm walk-in hours to Friday. The Monday morning 10.30-11.30 yoga class is staying right where it is, but because our class at the Sault College is a lunch-time class, we're just not able to arrange for child care and manage the store hours at the same time. So Friday is where it's at! These changes are reflected on our class schedule linked at the top of the page.
Also, since this Saturday will be the third Saturday of the month, that means we're hosting a free tea and lecture from 2pm to 3pm. This week's topic will be a brief history of Reiki, or universal life energy. This discussion is going to primarily focus on its origins, the history of its founder, and how it made the jump from Japan to Hawaii and, ultimately, to the USA and around the globe. A later lecture will be for the metaphysics of Reiki, aka "how it works." No RSVP is necessary, but we always appreciate a heads-up so we know how much tea to steep!
