Happy Wednesday, Sault Ste. Marie! For today's Tarot meditation, I'm examining the following combination:
Queen of Clubs + Queen of Hearts: Long term safety requires long term planning. Remember, too, that safety isn't just being cared for: it includes having the power and authority to enforce your plans and create your safe space.
How can we apply this meditation to the real world?

The leading headline for news in Ontario is the announcement that this year's winter is going to milder than expected. This comes as a surprise for some of us especially in northern Ontario where we got an early sneak preview of coming attractions with a blast of snow and ice. The coming week is going to be much nicer, and so the weather wizards say, it'll stay that way until at least February when Old Man Winter gets down to business.

Still, how does this relate to today's Tarot meditation? The answer is climate change. Climate change is a real thing, and it's a reality that's changing the way of life around the entire world. Think the refugee crisis is bad now? Just wait and see what happens if we can't correct rising temperatures in time to prevent vast portions of India uninhabitable. I don't need Tarot cards to predict that a mass migration of at least 1,282,390,303 people will reshape global affairs.

If you want long term safety, you need long term authority to enforce the necessary changes for maintaining a secure environment. Absent the vision and the authority, safety is an empty word and the consequences of a failure to plan will be dire.
