TGIF, Sault Ste. Marie! I hope everybody's got great plans in store for today and the weekend ahead. The big news for Energy Revived today is that from 2pm to 6pm I'll be at Island Books & Crafts in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Event details and directions are listed here! If you happen to be on the other side of the river, then I'd love to see you there! For those of you on our side of the river in Ontario, if you want a reading today then you'll need to be here first thing this afternoon not later than 12.30 because with bridge traffic being what it is I'll be on the road by 1pm. But don't lose heart! I'll be back by 7pm this evening and I'll still have some time a few readings. Hello, anonymous seeker. Congratulations on your change of scenery - I hope it brings you everything you hope for. You asked me to tell you if the change of employment was a good idea, and although I can certainly draw cards to answer that question for you, I think doing so would be unwise. After all, isn't it better to evaluate the worth of a decision before you make it? If I tell you that it was a good idea, then you'll take it for granted and possibly overlook important warning signs. And if I tell you it was a mistake, you'll only see a negative outcome and will start looking for a way out. So... no, I won't tell you if it was a good idea.

But I will tell you how to succeed.

I can see that you're really married to this new line of work, so I won't try to divorce you from it. If anything, your devotion and enthusiasm will probably take you farther than anything else at your disposal. Keep that good feeling and use it to fuel your progress. But in your optimism, don't fool yourself into seeing something that isn't there. I don't see anything in these cards to tell me that your new line of work is unprofitable, but I do see a warning that you're being overly optimistic. If you love the work you do, then you should do it, but don't deceive yourself into seeing something that isn't there. Be realistic, and work within your limitations to achieve the best results. But don't fool yourself into thinking that are no limitations.
