Announcements: April 2015

Welcome to April! Spring has sprung in Sault Ste. Marie, and it's a great time to start new projects. Speaking of new projects, you're going to notice a lot of new life in this blog. For starters, you'll notice a daily Tarot reading for wisdom and insight. These daily readings will typically be posted one day in advance so you can choose to do your Tarot meditations in the evening the day before so you can sleep on it, the morning of the day so you can prepare for whatever's ahead, or at the end of the day so you can reflect on what happened. If you choose to use these daily meditations, then I certainly hope you find them useful!

As for the studio itself, you'll notice a few changes here and there. First off, we've terribly neglected our front windows over the past year, so this Spring Jen and I have resolved to put up some prettier window displays, fun posters, and - dare I say it - even an "Open" sign! I know, I know - what are we thinking? - but as our toddler gets older and doesn't demand as much of our time and attention, we have even more time and energy to give to the business.

And for folks who've only just awakened from winter hibernation, remember that our schedule has undergone significant changes. Our yoga classes are now only in the mornings: Monday and Wednesday mornings at 10.30am, and Saturday mornings at 11am. Our walk-in hours have changed, too: they're 12pm to 3pm on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. And of course, our evening classes have become meditation and Lightworking classes: Wednesdays at 7pm, and Fridays at 6.30pm.

There are a few events this month!

Today, the first Saturday of April, we're hosting a public clinic for lightworkers, healers, and Reiki practitioners. All traditions and lineages are welcome, but please - practitioners only - because we won't have time to teach new students. The public clinic runs from 2pm to 3pm, and if you're a practitioner, then I hope to see you there!

On the 11th, the second Saturday in April, we're hosting a public Lightworking clinic. There will be two sessions: the first session starts at 2pm, and the second session starts at 2.30pm. If you want to receive a lightworking, healing, or Reiki session, please call ahead and reserve your spot because space is limited. Also, if you're a practitioner and want to meet new clients or just network with the local healing community, you're very welcome to bring your business card and participate - just call ahead and let us know that you'll be there. If you're bringing your own clients, please ask them to call ahead, too, so we can schedule them in for you.

And on the 18th, the third Saturday in April, we're hosting our free tea and lecture. There's no fee for this lecture, but donations are certainly welcome. The lecture will run 20 to 30 minutes, and there'll be time beforehand for meet-and-greet, plus time at the end for questions and answer or just chit-chat. You don't need to call ahead, but we'd appreciate a heads up if you'll be there so we can plan how much tea to brew.

In other news, please give a warm welcome to the Spiritual Connection Centre which opened right next door to us where the Candy Bouquet used to be. The Spiritual Connection Centre offers angel card readings and Reiki sessions, but also some gifts, Bibles, and other interesting materials for the light at heart. It was quite a surprise to us that they would choose to open right next door to us and several of the same services that we offer, but hopefully we can shine together and prove that there's more than enough room in the Sault for all of us.
