Happy Friday, Sault Ste. Marie! For today's Tarot meditation, I'm examining the combination of the Ten of Cups and Ace of Pentacles. As I discussed in yesterday's meditation, the world's a crazy place and we all do our best to survive while also finding a sense of happiness. For many of us, this effort to achieve our desires pushes us ever faster. Latest fashion. Latest tech. Latest cause. And so on.
Keeping up with the New can be fun and exciting, but the problem with the New is that it always gets Old. In your haste to adopt the next Big Change, don't be ignorant to the fact that once again you're going to considerable time and energy for the Next Best Thing while somebody else is profiting from the exchange. Chances are that in a year's time you won't be gaining any pleasure from your decisions, but chances are good that the person who sold it to you will still be enjoying your time and energy. Cui bono?
