Psychic Reading: 25 September, Libra 2015

Announcements for Friday:

  • 12pm-8pm: Store Hours for Walk-in's
  • 2pm-6pm: Tarot Readings in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan

TGIF, Sault Ste. Marie! The big announcement is that today, as it is every two weeks, I'm appearing at Island Books & Crafts in downtown Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan from 2pm to 6pm. If you're on the USA side of the river, then I'd love to see you there! Of course, if you're on the Canadian side of the border, then if you want your cards read today you'll have to come in no later than 12.30pm. Bridge traffic being what it is, I'll be out of the door by 1pm, but don't worry - I'll be back in the store tonight by 7pm for another hour of readings here in Sault, Ontario.

And for today's psychic reading, I'm responding to an anonymous seeker who asks,

I'm just looking for a general reading. Got anything for me?

Ah, the fatal type: what's fate got in store for you today? Let's take a look. The first thing to say is that there's no trump cards here, so this is all relatively small stuff. But the second thing to say is that we've got an interesting argument between seeing the world the way it really is and wishing it could be different.

Your core self suffers no illusions about the challenges you're really facing, and that's good because at least this way you're not setting yourself up for failure. But at the same time, seeing things the way they really are- warts and all - can be terribly depressing and demotivating.

Your desires indicate that you'd like to be forgiving of yourself and let down your guard, but your current situation doesn't support that at all. What's a person to do? I think you should change your perspective.

Instead of basing your decision on the knowledge of how things can turn out badly or fall out from under you at a given time, you should base your decisions on what things are consistent and predictable. In other words, embrace the truth that your immediate world has limitations and challenges, but put your emphasis on how to work within those limitations.

There's no shame in not being a super-star, only shame in not being your own star. Think about it.
