Happy Tuesday, Sault Ste. Marie - let's make the most of it. Why not spend it with us? We're open today from 12pm to 8pm for walk-in readings, Reiki sessions, shopping our selection of candles and incense, and more.
Of course, if you're looking for a card reading, you couldn't pick a better place in either of the twin Saults. To give you an idea how we work, one of the daily rituals I observe is the calculation and interpretation of the Millennium Clock, a cartomantic formula used to show the passage of time as lessons necessary for personal growth and development. To make these lessons relevant, I use the combinations to answer funny or interesting questions. Today, for example, is marked by the union of the 3 of Hearts and 4 of Diamonds who answer the question,
What is your biggest concern about the future?
In reply, these two cards say: Well, to be honest I'm not really concerned about the future. I mean - I've got mine, and it's working! I'm good at what I do and as long as nothing changes, I'm set. And what's wrong with that? My Libertarian principles say that I'm free to do what I want, and I'm not obligated to help anybody if I don't want to. The world's not a perfect place, and there are some serious problems out there, but they don't affect me and I'm fine with that...
... well, I'm fine with that as long as they don't affect me. I mean, it can be quite worrisome to have a problem land on your head that's outside of your ability to change or authority to influence. I suppose in that situation I might be willing to take a different opinion. Actually, I suppose I would definitely change my opinion because - after all - why shouldn't I get some help now and then? You know, those problems out there that are none of my business might actually be more of my business than I first thought.
