Daily Tarot Reading: 17 May, Taurus 2015

Happy Sunday, Sault Ste. Marie - I hope it finds you well. Of course, judging by how quiet it is in town today, I think everybody must be doing pretty well - either that, or you're all out at camp for the long weekend! As usual, there's nothing happening at the studio because we're enjoying a day off, so let's take a moment to look at announcements and changes.

First, some minor changes to the schedule. It used to be that we had a rotating monthly schedule of either a Healing Circle, Community Clinic, and Tea & Lecture on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Saturday of the month, respectively, but in response to demand I've changed this: we now host a free community Healing Circle for practitioners every Saturday from 2pm to 3pm. The other events are on the back-burner and they may or may not make a reappearance.

Second, the Friday evening and Saturday afternoon class times have changed a little bit. The Friday evening Lightworkers class from 7pm to 8pm has been moved to Saturday afternoon from 12.30pm to 1.30pm. This gives students a chance to get up to 3 class credit hours toward their certification by attending the morning yoga class at 11am, the lightworking class at 12.30pm, and the community Healing Circle at 2pm. Easy peasy!

I think that covers it for announcements, so let's talk about today's Tarot card reading. Following the Millennium Clock, today is marked by the union of the 6 of Clubs and the 9 of Hearts who teach the lesson that duty and stewardship are not aided by prideful ego. If you want to stand out from the crowd, that's prerogative, but if you find yourself anchored by duty or circumstance, a big head will serve no purpose. In addition, you will find that a desire for the spotlight will diminish all meaning and sense of achievement that could have been gained through dutiful service to others, and in the end you will have nothing to show for your effort and given hours.
