Daily Tarot Cards: 23 May, Gemini 2015

Oh yeah, it's Saturday! And not only is it the weekend, but the weather is supposed to be absolutely phenomenal. Clearly, I'm excited about it. If you're planning a big weekend at camp or around town, start your weekend right with yoga this morning at 11am to 12pm! Our resident yoga guru, Jen Bridge is an E-RYT 200 with the Yoga Alliance and provides the highest quality yoga instruction anywhere, period. Whether you're a senior with bad hip, or maybe you've got other physical limitations that prevent you from fitting into other yoga classes? I promise you'll do great. Even if you're a complete fitness bunny, Jen can give you modifications to make even basic poses very challenging. In any case, your first class is free, so get in here today!

Speaking of free classes, today is Saturday so that means we've got our weekly members-only Lightworking and Healing class from 12.30pm to 1.30pm. Just like yoga, the first class is free, but unlike yoga, you'll focus less on physical movement and more on meditation and subtle energy work. Curious? I bet you are. You'll never know if you don't go.

Also today, we have our regular open healing circle for lightworkers, reiki practitioners, and healers from 2pm to 3pm. All traditions are welcome and lineage isn't important: if you practice a hands-on healing modality, you're invited! There's no fee, but donations are welcome.

Now let's talk about today's daily Tarot cards: following the Millennium Clock, today is marked by the union of the 2 of Spades and 3 of Clubs who teach the lesson that beliefs are both nurtured and crystallized by supportive friends and partners who feel the same. It's no mystery: if you have a strong social network which encourages and strengthens you, odds are good that you'll think and feel the same as the other people in the network. If you feel your faith is weak, then it follows you'll seek sanctuary in the company of like minds.

But it also follows that your beliefs and opinions are not entirely your own: each of us are colored by the company we keep. If you want to change your mind or find a new world paradigm, the first thing you need to change is the company you keep.
