Daily Tarot: 13 May, Taurus 2015

Good morning, Sault Ste. Marie, and a happy Wednesday to you. I hope you've all had a great week since we last talked? I had a great time in Indiana visiting my family and celebrating my brother's university graduation, but now that I'm home and recovered from a very long Greyhound bus ride, it's back to business as usual.

Speaking of business as usual, today is Wednesday and that means we've got yoga class this morning from 10.30am to 11.30am, Lightworkers class this evening from 7pm to 8pm, and of course the store will be open today from 12pm through 8pm for shopping our merchandise, walk-in Tarot card readings, and more.

Also, remember that this Saturday is the third Saturday of the month, which means from 2pm to 3pm we'll be hosting a free tea and occult lecture. Please call ahead to let us know you'll be attending so we know how much tea to steep and how many chairs to set up! The lecture will be about 30 minutes long, and there'll be plenty of time before and after for conversation and getting to know new friends.

With that out of the way, let's talk about today's Tarot card reading! Today is marked by the union of the 6 of Spades and 4 of Hearts who teach the lesson that personal knowledge and one's own wisdom don't make a home or give one a sense of long-term attachment.

Certainly, one's own unique perspective and accomplishments can be a guiding force in any decisions related to the place where one feels attachment and roots, but knowledge and experience at the end of the day are just cold, intangible data.

To set roots and dedicate yourself to a place (or at least a sense of place) requires physical interactions, emotional tenderness, and consideration of others' needs and desires. Knowing isn't enough - you must also care and share.
