What's new in March 2015? Yoga, Tarot Readings & More at Energy Revived

Hey, folks - welcome to March 2015! The weather is still cold in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, but it's getting brighter and warmer by the day and lemme tell ya - I can't get enough. February is gone, so let's talk about March and what this means for you!

 Yoga School, Yoga Classes, and More

As we recently announced, our business has been officially recognized by the internationally-respected Yoga Alliance as a registered yoga school at the 200 level. This is exciting because it's another professional achievement for our lead instructor, Jen Bridge, but also because this makes us the only registered yoga school in either of the twin Saults. So hurray! We're very happy about this. Also, as far as yoga goes, the schedule has changed a little bit and if you've been hunkered down to get through the cold weather then you probably missed it. Yoga classes are now Mondays at 10.30am, Wednesdays at 10.30am and 7pm, and Saturdays at 11am (you can also see this on the schedule listed on the tab at the top of the page!) And although it's not on our schedule, we're very excited that our lead instructor Jen Bridge has been hired by Sault College to lead their yoga, pilates, and fusion yog-ilates classes! So if you're reading the Sault College activity program and see a familiar face, you know who it is! Unfortunately, your monthly membership at our studio won't let you into classes at the college, but if you're in that neck of the woods then I'm sure Jen would love to see you there, too.

 Healing School and new offerings

 Some of you folks know that we've been offering private seminars in the Japanese meditative and healing practice called Reiki, or universal life energy. After a few years to think about how we want to teach the classes, we've come to the decision that it's better for us and for our students to move away from weekend crash-courses and instead offer weekly walk-in classes. Also, we're not strictly teaching Reiki anymore, but instead are teaching Lightworking. The purists will insist that there's a huge difference, but as I'll discuss in another blog entry later this month, the difference is only cosmetic. There're a lot of advantages to moving away from Reiki and into Lightworking, so stay tuned and I'll tell you all about it.

Tarot Card Readings and Healing Sessions

And of course, we still offer Tarot card readings for walk-in's during our store hours or by appointment. The big difference, though, is that our card reader - myself, James Bulls! - has expanded his offerings and his services are available online at the popular website Fiverr.
